Key Features of COBRA

  • You can normally continue health benefits for up to 18 months (and in some cases up to 36 months), depending on your qualifying event.
  • You may keep your current health benefits and doctors for yourself and your covered dependents.
  • A COBRA notice with details will be mailed within 14 days of your Separation
  • You must enroll in COBRA within 60 days of the date you lose coverage or the date on the COBRA Enrollment Notice, whichever is later.
  • If enrolled in an HSA - T-Mobile will no longer contribute to your HSA once enrolled in COBRA
  • If enrolled in an HRA – T-Mobile will continue to fund your HRA annually should you remain in this plan while on COBRA.
  • Your COBRA election and payments can be made online through YBR – www.t-mobilebenefits.com
